I have never noticed a trail going to the top of Mt Margaret on any of the summer hikes. So, when the trail started descending, I picked a clear slope and started going up. No view from the top.
This would have been a good snowshoe hike if I had brought snowshoes. Fortunately, I was only sinking 2-6 inches into the snow, no post holing.
It is interesting that the trail head sign is misspelled as Margret.
Misspelled trail head sign
Blue can never resist a good role in the snow.
Split in the trail to Margaret Lake, we continued to on the Lake Lillian trail.
The top is at the clump of trees.
The view was of the fog.
