Started at the Pratt Lake trail head about fifteen minutes later than last week's trip to Granite Mt. With the time change there wasn't any need for a headlamp. Still the first car in the parking lot.
At about 3,500 feet the trail was consistently covered with snow, the higher we went the more snow. Probably a maximum of six inches with good traction (we where the first). When the sun came out and the snow started melting in the trees, "rain" drops then small chunks snow fell on the trail and us.
One of many creek crossing.

Over looking Talapus Lake.
Blue checking for a critter in the snow.
Island Lake, I believe there are a least three islands in the lake.
Blue wants more biscuits.
