Paw Print Rest Stop 2013-08-10

Another Tiger Mountain hike, 8.4 miles, 1,939 feet of elevation gain.  It was sunny when we started and I left the sun roof a little to keep the car cool, then it started to ran on the way back so the moving average was 3 mph.

I first went to Paw Print Rest Stop when it looked new several years ago.  It was designed as an area to unload horses, it had a corral and a nice toilet.  Over the years I never saw any evidence of any horse ever being at the "rest stop".  They have reclaimed the old road, that is the last leg to the rest stop, and it appears they may be getting ready to log the area.

The new road

Paw Print Rest Stop, all the horse stuff is gone.
