This is a Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River hike that starts at the north-east corner of the "concrete bridge", park on the West side of the bridge. Look for a faint boot path through the bushes. Once off the road, the trail is easy to follow to the CCC trail which is a gravel road at this point. Take a right and in a few feet look for a path on the left. At the next intersection, take a right. After a long steady climb take the next trail on the left.
Just for fun we continued on the main trail that heads to a view point on the ridge, not much of a view. The trail continues on past the view point and we did see some indication of people heading up the talus on the ridge. Back to the turn off trail.
Continue up this old old logging road until you see some sticks across the road and maybe some ribbons on hill to the left. Look carefully for a faint boot path that ascends the side of the hill. You will eventually reach a talus field where you are able so see the rock face of a ridge up ahead.
We turned around at this point as we were in the cloud (no views), it was starting to rain, and the snow on the rocks wasn't sufficient enough to support my weight.
On a previous hike, we traversed the talus field and attained the ridge on the west end. It did appear you could walk the ridge over to Green Mountain. Good views from the ridge.
