Myrtle Lakes 2013-07-10

The Dingford trail head is located at the end of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River road.  On this trip the road was endless miles of potholes.  At one time a sign was posted that the road was going to be paved, it has since been removed.

On a previous trip we had tried to find the turn off for Hester Lake, but just ended up beating around in the huckleberry bushes and never found the trail.  On this trip, it appears a new section of trail had been built to bypass a large tree that had fallen on the old trail.  We'll do Hester Lake at another time, after the potholes are filled.
